Turns out the 6 month to 1 year job that we thought Cory had in Nevada has been cut dramatically short. We found out a few days after Christmas that Cory was going to be laid off and thus transferred back to Utah. He already has a new job with another company here in Utah, doing the same apprenticeship program, but man has this thrown us for a loop.
We made so many life changes to go out to Nevada, and come to find out it was for a very short period of time. I find myself feeling very stressed, frustrated, grateful (to be home), among many other emotions. For now we will be staying with Cory's parents because everything is still up in the air as to how long we will be in Utah for, which is probably what stresses me out the most. I am a very big planner, and not having a plan really makes me on edge- ugh. I just keep telling myself that everything will work itself out, and try not to stress about it. I am very blessed to have an amazing family, amazing friends, and a very loving and supportive Heavenly Father to help me get through it all.
Tenley is still growing like a little weed and she is starting to get four molars- yes, not just one or even two- but four all at the same time- poor girl!! She is a jabber box and can speak so very well. Love her to pieces.

With the new year now in full swing, I have still not written down my goals. I feel like I have so many floating around in my head, I just need to get them down. Hopefully this year will be as great as the last, and we will be able to encounter some new adventures. Welcome 2012- so much for the end of the world you crazy people!!!!!

I am undecided on the decision to go private with my blog!!! I had made the decision to do so- obvious in the previous post- but now I just cannot decide. I have a lot of family members who do not have blogger accounts, thus making viewing what our little family is up to sort of difficult for them.... ugh, just cannot decide!! Thanks to those of you who have given me your emails- if I do go private I will surely add you, but as of now, I am still on the fence!!

That said, the Christmas season has been a lot different for me this year. I am very VERY used to christmas tree hunting, christmas decorating, SNOW, being around family, and believe it or not, just the way that the community at home feels during Christmastime. It just has this special feeling about it!! Did I mention SNOW?? I really am missing the SNOW SNOW SNOW!!!
However, it has helped me to focus more on what Christmas is really about. I have actually read a lot of articles out of the Ensign about Christ's birth, and also his life. It has really helped me to be very grateful for Him, His Life, and the huge sacrifice he made for us- The Atonement. I have always known that we celebrate Christmas symbolically for Christ, but I was easily caught up in the commercial aspect of Christmas rather than the true meaning!! Anyway, just a little food for thought!

The people of Alamo are so very nice, and have been so welcoming. I am starting to adjust and get used to life in a trailer, and also not knowing people. Still miss home very very much, but life is really great for the most part. Tenley is growing up so quickly and I feel like it is just flying by. She lights up when Cory comes home from work, and Cory does the same- highlight of my day!!

The following is an ode to my beautiful not-so-baby girl.... can't get enough of her, and need to get a few tidbits down on paper.

This beautiful sweet pea is almost 16 months old, and I can't even imagine where the time as gone, or even when or how she has gotten so big!!! She is the light of my life and at the same time drives me absolutely crazy somedays!!! (you all know EXACTLY what I mean)

First of all- SHE HAS ATTITUDE!!!! Yes this little girl is completely full of it!!! She has a mind of her own!!! She is a talking machine and can say so many things. Sometimes she will suprise us by saying exactly what we are saying, so very clearly- makes you wonder how much she really can say but chooses not to. Of course she has picked up on the wonderful word "NO"- and uses it quite frequently. She can say Mommy, Daddy, Nana, Papa, Coco, Colby, Teegan (both cousins of hers), milk, binkie, book, bug, butterfly, he-he (horse) puppy, kitty, sucker, candy, grape, apple, cheese, movie, piggie, rat, (i'll explain later) spider, bye-bye, hi, boo, bite, snack, thank you, .... I am absolutely sure that I am missing many things, but for the moment that is all that I can think of.

Tenley is currently obsessed with the movie Charlotte's Web- explaining the words piggie, rat, and spider.

Also, she loves to sing "Itsy Bitsy Spider" and knows the hand motions to it. She loves patty cake, and also "This little piggie".

She is into absolutely everything. Living in this trailer, it feels like it is always a mess. I pick up one thing just to find her into another :-) Joys of motherhood!!! She loves to "help" me wash the dishes and cook dinner- or whatever meal it is that I am preparing.

Whenever we sit down for a meal at the table, she will fold her arms to get ready to pray- CUTEST THING EVER!!!! When her daddy gets home from work at night, she gets so excited she doesn't know what to do with herself. She runs toward him, then runs away laughing, then comes back and dances in front of him- it is so adorable. Speaking of dancing- Tenley is a very distinguished dancer. She can shake it like no tomorrow and it is so dang cute!!!

Right now, Tenley is still napping twice a day, once around 10:30 and once around 3:30. She is pretty to the minute on her schedule!!!

Mostly, I just love her dearly. She is such a joy to be around, and is always making me laugh. Can't believe how fast time flys, it is definitely bittersweet... sad to think that she was just a tiny baby, but exciting to see what else she is going to be able to do, and the amazing woman that she will someday grow into!!!

The other day Tenley and I explored the small town that we are temporarily calling home!!!! There isn't much here, but it is starting to become more and more like home. I saw a sign today that said:

This year for Halloween was a little different.... we don't really know many people out here, so we only did a little trick or treating. One of my visiting teachers, Robin, has a little girl that is almost one year old, so her and Tenley have been playing together a little bit. Robin is super nice and I am so grateful for her reaching out to our family. I am so grateful for the gospel and for the support system that we can find through it no matter where we are at.
Anyway, I dressed Tenley as a little witch this year, and wasn't super prepared with everything else going on, but, in my opinion, she is adorable no matter what. She hasn't picked up on "trick or treat" yet, but she kept saying "nandy" which means "candy". SOOO cute!!!

Change Is Life....

Well I officially cried for the first time since all of these life changing events have taken place. It was the weirdest thing, I was just sitting with Tenley in the trailer reading a book and I just started crying, and couldn't stop- all day!! Someone would say something and bam!!! there came the tears again!! I even cried when the post office lady asked me how I was doing?!! Man, guess that's what happens when you are high stress for two weeks and then you are in the middle of no where all alone??

** I need to get this down to keep a record of everything- so if you get bored easily or don't want the whole story-you may want to stop reading here***

To explain the high stress part.... it was October 9th when Cory left for Las Vegas. He had just gotten the transfer call earlier that week, but he had to clear the hall in Las Vegas, so he headed to Vegas on a Sunday evening. He then cleared the hall and had to be in Ely, Nevada the following Monday morning. Ely and Vegas are about 300 miles apart from each other. Anyway, that monday, I went to Ely to see if we could find a place for our family to live while Cory was on the job. If that wasn't a big downer, I don't know what is.... Ely is not that nice of a place, and the only place for rent was pretty much a dive, and they wanted $850 not including utilities. Oh, let me back up, I had to quit my job. Cory and I decided that it would be better for us to all be together as a family, rather than have him be gone all the time and all by himself. So I quit my job at the credit union, which was super hard for me to do for many reasons. I LOVED my job, the people I worked with, just everything about it, I was pretty attached.

Anyway, back to moving. So, since we couldn't find anywhere to rent ( which ended up being a blessing in disguise ) we decided maybe we ought to start looking for a travel trailer to live in.... this is what most of the guys on the job do anyway.... or live in hotels. So we started looking. The following weekend Cory had to be in Tooele for school so I met him up there on Friday night and stayed in a hotel. While he was in school on Saturday morning, I looked all over Salt Lake for a travel trailer. When he got done with school, he came and met me, which was about 3:00 . We really were blessed. We found a super super nice used fifth wheel trailer at Motor Sportsland in Salt Lake, and got it!!

The next issue was our truck.... Cory's white Chevy was lifted too high to pull a fifth wheel- even after putting a lift on the trailer- Suprised?? Me either.... So we decided to put his truck on KSL and try to sell it. Cory's history with selling things on KSL is seriously ridiculously lucky!!! Well the truck sold within two days... and Cory had found a red Chevy that he liked that would work to pull a trailer. SO, we got the red Chevy....

Oh wait, now we aren't going to Ely?? Cory found out that it would be closer for him in the long run to stay in a place called Alamo. This little town is about 200 miles south of Ely. It is SOOOO much warmer here, so that is super nice, but it is a very little town. Probably about the size of Spring City, but with a High School, Middle School, Elementary School, and very small credit union- that's about it. We are staying in the only RV park there, but it's a pretty nice place... for an RV park ... ha ha... this is where some other guys from the job are staying as well...

We decided to rent our house out to some good friends of ours- Mal and Kipp :) It is nice to know that our house is being taken care of while we are gone. It was really sad packing up all of our stuff and leaving it empty though :( We also sold our car!!! The new owner is so excited she can hardly stand herself- and that makes me very very very happy!!!!

Our lives have definitely changed a bit......

Anyway, we are now here in Alamo, as I said in my last post. There isn't much to do, but I'm learning. Yesterday was a pretty rough day for me, but today has been better, and that's all I can ask for. I'm trying to stay positive and take one day at a time. I do get to spend all the time in the world with my Tenley girl, and I really appreciate the roles of mother and wife that I get to fill a little better and a little more each day. I guess I now understand what my grandma meant when she said that we should be going with Cory... "He needs to come home to his family, a clean home, and a hot meal on the table!!" Love that lady soooo much!!! Tenley helps out by saying "tank you mommy" to almost everything I do.... couldn't be doing this without that little angel's smiling face!!!

Alamo Nevada

We are officially here!!! Wherever here may actually be!! Alamo,NVisin themiddle of no where for sure.... I guess we are not too far from Vegas but other than that it feels like the middle of no where. We just arrived on Saturday October 22, thanks to the help of my mom, dad and sister :-) Cory has been out here working for about three weeks now. We made the decision to come with him, which meant quitting my job, leaving home, and living in a trailer for six months to a year- it should be a new adventure to say the least. I am trying to stay positive and look at it as a new start for our new little family- but not gonna lie- I miss home, my family, friends and job..... I miss my bestie Linds- she is like my other half ( yes I love Cory too, but it's just not the same ) LOL While Cory is totally awesome and I love him to pieces- I now have no one to get ice cream with, jam out to AWESOME music with, and just to talk to about everything including girl stuff- it's just not the same!!! I'll be seeing her soon though- whether she is ready or not ;-) Hopefully it will all work out for the best. It is nice to be able to spend a lot more time with Tenley and be able to see Cory every night. It sort of makes me appreciate what it really means to be a stay at home mom and wife.... it certainly is no easy task!!! So hats off to all of you who do it all the time!!! Tenley is growing and learning like crazy. She is little miss independent and MUST do everything on her own- I swear "big girl" is her favorite thing to say (and hear). Pictures to come!!!

I haven't written a post forever, there is just so much to write about, and not enough time. Tenley is already 7 months old and I can't believe it. Time is just flying by. She is getting to be more and more fun every day, and I just love her little personality. She does have an attitude that I am a little nervous for, but she is the cutest little girl in the world :-) Cory is still working in a different place all the time, but is mostly in the Salt Lake Area. For that reason we have put our house up for sale. I have mixed feelings about selling it. I don't want to leave Sanpete County, with all of our family and friends, but at the same time, it would be nice to see Cory more and it would be a lot less of a commute for him. I guess we'll see, the market isn't the greatest for selling right now. Anyway life is great and I am loving it. Aubrey took our family pictures a few weeks ago, so I thought I'd share a few. It has been forever since I have taken the time to do a new post, or rather since I have had the time. So much has been going on!!! Our newest addition Tenley Jo takes up all of our spare time and we wouldn't have it any other way. She is so much fun, we love her so much and don't know what we ever did without her. Exciting News and Much Needed Post!!

Okay, so I have been a little absent from the blogging world lately.... I'm sorry to those of you who keep chewing my butt to update!!! Since October not much has changed in the lives of Cory and I , except that we are expecting a baby girl on July 30th!! I guess that is a really big change, but we've been so busy with that and other things that our blog has been pretty neglected.
We are so super excited to welcome a little baby girl into the world, and can't wait for her to become a part of our little family. It is so surreal, crazy, and so so much fun.

Pregnancy hasn't been too bad. The first three months were not so good because I was extremely sick but it has now passed. I feel great, and just can't wait to see her. I am now five months along and am beginning to get frustrated because I am in the awkward stage of my regular clothes not fitting so well, but maternity clothes are just too big.

Cory felt her kicking for the first time the other night, and it was so exciting. I just don't know how she is going to get any bigger in there because I can already feel her moving around like crazy, it doesn't seem like she has enough room to grow- but I guess it's just a miracle!!

Other than the baby, everything is pretty normal. We are still happy as ever, and couldn't ask for anything else!!

Wow, I haven't posted forever!! We got blogger taken away at work, and I unfortunately do not have a computer at home!! Cory and I haven't been up to much at all, just working and working. Cory is working in Salt Lake now, so he is closer to home, and the best part is- he is home every night!!! It is so much fun, almost like we are newlyweds again or something. We spoke in our ward a few weeks ago, about our experience in getting ready to go to the temple, and the process that it was... It was very humbling and also nerve racking. As if that wasn't nerve-racking enough. We now get the opportunity to go to the prison in Gunnison and speak there this Sunday. Also, we are speaking in the adult session of Stake Conference!! AHHHH!! I'm so nervous, and I really don't know why. I think that the prison will be such a humbling experience, and I am actually pretty excited, but the nerves keep taking the excitement over!!! So everyone pray for us!!!

As you all know, snowmobile season is coming up, which means that I pretty much lose a husband from the first good snowfall to about march- this really is a long time. It hasn't even snowed yet, but that is all that he talks about- this is why we don't have children yet- I am already raising one!!! Anyway, I love him and this is something that he truly enjoys doing so I just smile and say yes!!

I hope that everyone is doing great, it is still so much fun to keep up with everyone!!

Families Are Forever

On Saturday August 29th, 2009. Cory and I finally made it to the temple to be sealed for time and all eternity. It was such an amazing experience, and I am so grateful for the journey that we had to take to get here, and for the blessing that it is in our lives. It is awesome to me that we will truly be together forever. I can think of nothing I would want more. What a wonderful day!!

Sand Dunes :p

This last weekend we went to the sand dunes for a quick trip. It was so so much fun!! I absolutely love the sand dunes and I am so excited that it is the season again. It was still a little hot, but it was worth it.

We unloaded the four wheelers and were riding for about 30 seconds when Cory's paddle tire went completely flat. We have had issues with his paddles ever since we got them. It was such a bummer, but at least we had an extra wheeler this time.

That night was so much fun. Not one person who came out in our group remembered that we'd need firewood that night. So Cory, Me, Jordan, Shawn, and Charlie all decided to go baja-ing out in the nearby sagebrush and find some firewood. It was a lot of fun, but I must say a little dangerous. We were going way off road. Well, Jordan fell right out of the side of the truck!!! It was so funny, but I don't know how funny he thought it was. Then we kept driving and found an entire tree that was completely dead, but still standing in the ground. Well Cory and Jordan thought that it would be THE BEST firewood. ( At this moment, along with the moment when Jordan fell out of the truck, I was kicking myself in the butt for not taking my camera along!!)

So, they decided the best way to knock the tree down was to ram the truck hitch into the tree- since "it was so dead, it should knock right over". So that's exactly what we did. Now take into consideration. Cory, Jordan, and myself were in the back of the truck standing against the cab. Well, running the truck into the tree just wasn't cutting it. So, Cory and Jordan proceeded to climb on the tree and start pulling. In their favor, they were actually making some progress. Well, the side that Jordan was pulling was just so dead that it decided to give completely down and Jordan went down with it. He fell about ten to fifteen feet to the ground. Again, we are all hysterical, it was seriously funny! It actually knocked Jordan out for a few seconds, and his back was killing him, but he turned out alright. :P It was quite the firewood expedition!!!

When we returned to camp they decided to build a teepee shaped firepit. This is Jordan dumping gas on the wood.

This is the resulting fire- it was really quite big. We had so much fun- can't wait til next trip!!!

Just want to wish my amazing husband a very happy birthday!! It's weird to me that he's now 23, but he says it's not to him. Crazy how time flies!!

Rare Phenomenon!!!

This weekend was quite a fun-filled weekend. We had so much fun hanging out with friends and family. On Saturday afternoon we went to the off-road show. It was a lot of fun to watch the BMX riders and also the motorcross riders. They were really awesome. I was so excited because I actually remembered my camera... so, I go to take a few pics, and of course it was dead. So I'm really bummed out!!

Later on, we were really bored and so we decided to go the movie The Proposal!! It was a great movie, I would definitely see it again. It was a little bit of chick flick, but Cory actually enjoyed it too! It was funny. Sandra Bullock is great, I just love her!!

On Sunday, we met with both sides of the family!! It was a really nice day with family. A really rare phenomenon occurred... CORY PLAYED SOFTBALL!!! Yes, my husband who has never, EVER played before, and actually kinda despises the sport... he played softball with us. He was actually really good, especially for never playing. It was a lot of fun.

Like I said, I am totally bummed that my battery was dead on my camera, but I did manage to charge it long enough to get a few pics of Sunday.

Fun Weekend Camping

This last weekend we all decided to go camping for the weekend up Gooseberry in Fairview Canyon. It was so much fun. It was quiet, relaxing, and so much fun. We sat around the fire on Friday night until about 2:30 a.m. which is probably the latest I have stayed up in almost a year, it was crazy!! We made smores and just visited with everyone, it was a great time. I hope we do it again soon.

So this past weekend was pretty eventful.... We celebrated Lacey Kogaines' bachelorette party, which was a total blast. Lindsay planned some really fun games, ( they involved cucumbers, bananas, and a few other things), I got some pictures, but decided not to post them.... ;-) We had so much fun visiting, and most of all dancing and karaoke-ing. It was a really fun girls night!!

On Sunday, my dad got tickets for all of us to go to the Salt Lake Bees game. It was so much fun to go the game and spend the day with my family!!! We had great seats and were shaded the entire game which was so nice. Thanks Dad, we all had a blast!!

After the game we went and ate yummy food at the Olive Garden. It was really yummy!! We learned this funky way to fold napkins that sorta makes the napkins look like a pair of ya-ya's. We learned it in California with my dad's birth mother Annelyse... so now, everywhere we go one of us is bound to fold our napkin into this shape... well my little brother did it and put it on the other brothers head... it was great :-)

Yes, everyone who has been after me, I am finally posting!!! I'm so sorry, life has been crazy busy!! So brace yourselves, there are sorta a lot of pictures and stories :-)

Linds beat me to this post, but it was such a fun night I just can't not post about it. We had planned a night on the mountain, but the weather being the lovely weather that it was, we had to improvise. We had a camp-out under The Beesley's garage. We did leave Tim and Cory in charge of the dutch oven... kinda scary I know!!! I think that they got more visiting and talking done than anything :-) The dutch oven was so YuMmY!! Afterwards we rented Seven Pounds and watched it on their new BIG SCREEN in their awesome new basement. The movie was awesome, it had a really good message to it but it was really sad as well... Thanks Tim and Linds for an awesome night out, we need to do it more often!!!

Cory and Tim spent about twenty minutes tryin to figure out the surround sound and dvd player, Linds and I were just getting a kick out of watching them. They would both think they had it figured out, and then... OoPs wrong button or cord. They make quite the pair. Cory actually gave up on getting it to work, but Tim perservered and we watched the movie with great sound :-) Tim and Kray :-)

Cory and Tim, being the amazing chefs they were born to be :-) On Memorial Day, we had a family breakfast cookout with Cory's family. It was so much fun and the food was delicious!! Hopefully they make this a tradition. His family is so cute and fun I just love them!!

Later on that day I stopped by the veterans memorial in Mount Pleasant to see my grandpa. They had been doing all of the memorial services for the day and this was their last stop. It was really awesome to see all of these men who have served our country stand together and salute our flag. I am so grateful for the sacrifices that they made, and for the sacrifices that are continually being made by millions of soldiers today.

My grandpa is second from the right ( next to the guy with the trumpet ). He served in Vietnam. I wish I knew more, but he doesn't talk about it- AT ALL!! So i just respect that. He is such a great man and I love him dearly. He looked so handsome all dressed up too!!!

Easter Weekend

I have been really slow at posting about Easter this year, but we had so much fun!! We decided last minute to head out to the Sand Dunes, and it was really worth the trip. We had a lot of fun camping and riding our four wheelers!! The weather wasn't even bad, at least not as bad as I had expected. Friday and Sunday were both beautiful days... Saturday was overcast all day, and it did sprinkle a little Saturday night.. just enough to settle the dust :-) It was so much fun. I was mad at myself though because I didn't realize it until we were out there, but my camera battery was almost dead, so I didn't get many pictures and I am totally bummed out!!!

My Sister came out with us and spent the weekend, it was so awesome to have her, she's the best!!

Sand Hollow Trip- LOTS OF PICTURES

This past weekend we went to Sand Hollow with Cory's parents and two of his adorable nephews!! It was so much fun, and so awesome to get away for a weekend. We left Friday and intended to get down there about 1 in the afternoon, but we didn't end up getting there until about 5 that day!! We were running a little late to begin with, but then we made it all the way to Nephi and Cory realized that he forgot his air filters for the Banshee, so we had to drive all the way back to Mount Pleasant to get them, then all the way back to Nephi and then we were finally on our way!! FINALLY!!

So we got down there and the weather wasn't the greatest on Friday, so we just had dinner and hung out in the trailer to stay out of the rain. Saturday was an awesome day! The weather was perfect and we had so much fun. It really is such a fun place! I wish we had a boat so that we could enjoy everything down there, but it was still so fun! We went riding ALL day on Saturday! There are tons of Sand Dunes that we had fun riding, and then there are these huge rocks just everywhere that you can climb on! It was so much fun and I really want to go back down!! Hopefully we'll be able to make it again this year!!!

We had so much fun climbing all over the rocks- it was so cool! I wish it would have been warmer so we could get IN the water, but it was really cool because you could get out to where it was pretty deep just by walking on the rocks. Boats would actually dock by the rocks because the water was deep enough!!

Cory called this one "Simba Rock" he wanted to walk out on it and hold Treyson out like Simba on the Lion King, but once he got on top of it he realized he couldn't walk out on it. It was only like 2 inches wide!

Okay, sorry to everyone who has tagged me... I know I haven't kept up!! But here goes.. this was a hard one...
10 HONEST, and INTERESTING things about myself.....

1- I HATE Tomatoes!! Yes, HATE!! I seriously don't know how anyone can eat them- they disgust me!!

2- I am usually home all week by myself because of Cory's work... I get bored so I work three jobs to keep myself almost too busy!! ( Yes, we need a baby! )

3- I cannot, CANNOT just sit and relax or watch T.V.- I always feel like I have to be moving or doing something- maybe there is something wrong with me who knows!!

4- I have found a newfound interest and love in the gospel! Growing up I wasn't sure this would ever happen, but it has and now I just can't get enough!!!

5- I am a VERY sociable person! I love spending time with family and friends!

6- I am very accident prone!! Seriously though- Clutz might be a better description!!

7-I really wish that I could quit working and just tag along with Cory wherever he is working, I miss him so much all week it drives me crazy!!

8- I don't miss High School much at all, but I miss all the sports I used to play!! Really MISS them, like if I had the opportunity to play Softball, Soccer, or Basketball ( competetive ) I would probably drop everything in a second!!

9- I really want to have a baby- I just am not sure when that is going to happen- not yet but hopefully sometime in my five-year future!!

10- I have the best family and friends in the world! They are so amazing and life would be so utterly boring without them all!!

Old and New News!!

So, I did find my camera, which means I need to update everyone on the pics that I did have and now do have...

I went on a shopping trip with my amazing mom last weekend and we had so much fun!! She is the most AwESomE person in the whole world, and I couldn't ask for a better mom or friend!! We had a blast shopping our butts off. This however would be the night I lost/ misplaced my camera, so I didn't get a chance to post about it until now...

Also......We had our monthly buncos night last night, and it was so much fun!! Plus, my honey came home with the motherload- whoo hoo!!! Afterwards, we went to Tim and Lindsay's to play Mario Kart - BEST GAME EVER!!!! It was really fun and we all just kinda hung out and relaxed, plus I got to play with two cute boys!!! Easton and Kray!!!

WHOO HOO!!! I FOUND MY CAMERA!! So, after a full two days of searching everywhere that I thought possible... I mean everywhere... I found my blasted camera. I cleaned my house all day yesterday, but didn't move my kitchen table because I deep cleaned the kitchen on Saturday so it wasn't due... anyway I swear I looked all over in the kitchen for my dang camera and it was no where to be found for two whole days!!
When I got home from my parents house last night (after I posted about losing my camera) I was talking to Mal on the phone, telling her all about my camera crisis... when I randomly decided to teeter a chair back... Now let me just say, I looked ALL OVER in the kitchen. I never pulled the chairs out from under the table, but I did put my head under the table to see if the camera was sitting on any of the chair seats... I swear it wasn't there!!! Well anyway, I teeter the chair back and right there in plain sight is my RED camera case!!! (Yes it's Red, it doesn't exactly blend in with anything....)

I am so excited I can hardly stand it!!! I thought I had lost all of my past pictures, and that I wouldn't be able to take any new ones for awhile... WOOT WOOT, I found it!!! Thank Goodness!!!

Bummed Out

So, I am totally bummed out because I LOST MY CAMERA!!!! It took me forever to start a blog because my excuse was that I didn't have a camera to post fun pictures... then I was so excited to get one for Christmas!!!

I now cannot find it anywhere!!!

I refuse to say that it will never be found.. but I went shopping with my Mom on Saturday, I had it there and never took it out of the car, then took everything, including my camera out of her car when we got home, and now I have simply... hopefully misplaced it. Until then though, I have been in a completely bummed out mood and I super depressed about it!!! AHHHHH I just want to cry!!! So, everyone pray, wish, do whatever it is you can to make my camera turn up... it would be greatly appreciated....

Junior Prom

YEAH, WE LOVE HIM!!!

As many of you know, this weekend was Junior Prom!!! My little bro, Kaden, is a junior this year, so on Friday night we went to the prom and got to watch him escort a beautiful girl and do the whole dance thing. I think that our Junior Prom is a great tradition. It was so crazy to have my little brother in it... I seriously can't believe he's already a Junior in High School, it makes me feel way too old. He looked so handsome, and his dates- both nights- were gorgeous. Unfortunately, I only got a picture of him with Khari- his date from Friday night. His Gorgeous Date Khari!

I'm sick yet again!!! I swear I get this annoying cold, keep it for about two weeks, it goes away for what seems like only two minutes, and then out of no where it's back again..... ugh.... I am totally completely sick of it. It just makes keeping up with everything in life extremely difficult, which is not something that me or anyone enjoys. I lose all motivation to do anything!!! I just don't know what my deal is.... If anyone knows any miraculous cold remedies please do share!! Because vitamins and tons of water just isn't working for me for some odd and annoying reason..... hate to complain... but I just had to do it!!!

So, In the Spirit of Valentines Day, I just wanted to do a post about my amazing wonderful husband.

Yup, this is him, isn't he sexy?!!I didn't have any great pics of just him, so this will just have to do. He thinks he's a badass cookin dinner I guess!! :-)

My hubby is the greatest... sorry girls I don't know if anyone can top him!! (I am obviously bias). Cory is such an amazing man. He is fun, outgoing, loving, supportive, HaRD WorKiNG, so freakin hilarious, loyal, amazingly good looking, the list goes on and on. I love him so much for the man that he is and the wonderful husband that he is to me. He is my best friend and I don't know what I would do without him. He works so hard for us to have a great life, and it doesn't come easily with him having to be out of town to work, but we make it through. :-) Thanks baby for being so amazing!! I love you with all of my heart and look forward to eternity with you! Happy Valentines Day Honey!!

Church Ball and Such......

So, I recently went to one of my little bro's church ball games... Let me just say, I have never been to a Church Ball game and man was it intense!!! It was the regional semi-finals, so I'm sure it was more intense than usual, but from what I hear, people get pretty into it!!! It was a lot of fun to watch my little bro play, he did awesome. Needless to say they still lost, but is was worth it to go!! Love Ya Kaden!!

Fair warning... the following might be considered semi-inappropriate for some.....

This last Saturday night, Lacee Kogaines had a "sex party" at her house. I went with my good friend Lindsay!! It was such a fun night. To start it off... I wasn't going to go at first, so I was about a half an hour late, and the last one to arrive. Oh, I must mention that at this particular type of "sex party" they sell Stripper Poles to put in your house..... yes!!! Real live stripper poles, they are actually pretty cool. They just bolt into one of the studs in your ceiling and voila!! You've got yourself your very own Stripper Pole!!! ( They do come out and re-install easily, so no, you unfortunately don't have to leave them up when expecting company- could you imagine that conversation piece!!)

Okay.. So the story goes... I arrived late, walked in the front door and of course they have a stripper pole set up :-) So, as soon as I walk into the room they are all taunting me saying that since I was late and the last one to arrive I get to be the first to dance on the Stripper Pole!!! (They either thought I was really gullable, or that I just flat out would refuse to do it) So, me being the AweSOmE, outgoing person that I like to be- just willingly grasp the stripper pole with my right hand.... proceed to wrap my left leg around it in a stripper-like fashion ;) Then, I proceed to try to swing around the pole..... anyone want to take a stab at what happened next??? Oh yes, I did, I so totally did!! The pole was not even close to bolted into the ceiling!! (Duh, I shoulda thought of that) So, needless to say, both the pole and I went crashing to the floor!! Not carpet mind you, hardwood floor!! It was the most amazing stripper dance I'm sure any of the spectators had ever seen :-) The poor hostess didn't know what to grab for when I was crashing.... don't worry though, she caught the pole and it was safe and sound!!

So, the remainder of the night was such a blast, and I had so much fun. Lindsay and I were trying everything possible, and having such a good time.... we got little wieners and little pairs of boobies to put on our pens as little toppers- yeah they were interesting and fun!! I won some game- can't remember which game- and so I got to be some kind of princess with a crown and whip thingy---- (Explaining the picture below)

So thanks Lacee for a great time, it was nice to get out with the girls!!

State Drill

So, I totally forgot to post about State Drill this weekend.... I used to go to State Drill every year in high school because my friend Ashley was always dancing, it is so much fun to go and watch all of the drill teams from all over the state perform, especially North Sanpete- let me just say, they did AmaZiNg!!! There were a lot of awesome teams there this year, with even better routines!! Anyway, so this year, my same Ashley friend is coaching and so I went for support :-) Not to mention I love watching the routines!!! Ash is an awesome friend and I love her so so much, it's the least I could do!!She coreographed their routines as well, so it was awesome to see what a great job she did!! Don't know what I'd do without that girl :-)

So.... it's winter...... even at the Sand Dunes!!!. Cory and I went to the dunes with Mike and Heidi this weekend. We figured since it was so warm here that it had to be like ten degrees warmer out there. The snow that we do have on the mountain isn't enough for Cory to snowmobile, so he had to play with his other toys!!!

So Excited......

For My Honey To Come Home!!!

Cor has been gone all week, which is totally routine. But during the Holidays he was home a lot more, so this week has been super lonely :-( I can't wait to see him!!

Another Day In The Life........

Well, as many of you know- or if you don't know- you do now... Cory my husband is a snowmobile fanatic. He goes every weekend, almost every day of the weekend... the only thing that stops him is if it's a total holy freakin blizzard!!! See, when Cor and I started dating he was more of the snowboarder type. He had snowmobiled when he was younger, but nothing too exciting. Well becoming part of my family soon changed that. My family are big snowmobilers, and we all just love it- except my mom she doesn't LOVE it. Anywhoo, Cory got hooked very quickly. He is pretty good at taking me with him, or at least asking. I just hate riding double on snowmobiles- just so you know it totally SUCKS. So most of the time, unless I can borrow a sled from my dad, I just get to stay home and find projects :-) ( Most of the time this isn't very hard because my house always needs something).

So my project this Sunday while Cor was gone was hanging some things on my walls in my master bedroom and bath. The most SAD thing about this is that we have been living in our home for just over a year now and my decorations are still not all put up. I just have the hardest time deciding where to hang things in fear that I might find something SO much cuter and have to move stuff around- making more holes in the walls which I HATE doing.:-( So, I decided to hire a little help. See my awesome, amazing friend Lindsay is truly an interior decorator at heart- she just never went to school for it or anything like that. She just has a knack for it- sure wish it were me!!! But, I am so so lucky to have such a talented friend!! So, she came over. About two hours later- we did chat a little more than decorate but what can I say we never have any time to catch up- we did get everything I have for my bedroom hung up on the walls ( I still need a few things so if you have any ideas please feel free!!). Plus, we even hung a cute shelf and ladder in my bathroom. I even had the perfect thing to set on the shelf!! It is the CUTEST bear ever!! It's dipped in WAX and it smells so YUMMY!!! ( Thanks for the gift Aub, I love it!!)
